Description:
Responsible for defining the migration approach, identifying the content owners and leading the migration to OS365 for a complex program.
The role requires both broad and deep SharePoint knowledge and the ability to architect SharePoint solutions by mapping common customer business problems to end-to-end technology solutions.
Demonstrated ability to engage with cross-functional teams and drive to resolution.
Essential Functions:
Develop project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnosing and mapping client requirements; articulating solution risks and barriers; recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; planning full project life cycle
Facilitate information gathering sessions to validate business cases, gather and document business and functional objectives
Implement migration by building components and custom designs; prototyping; data migration; maintaining artifact integrity and consistency
Manage customer relationship by communicating SharePoint architecture standards and frameworks; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues
Increase organization effectiveness by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions from other engagements
Enhance overall team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answer technical and procedural questions for less-experienced team members; teach improved processes; mentor team members
Improve information usefulness by tracking emerging technologies; evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements

SKILLS:

Minimum Requirements:
Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills. Can communicate clearly, effectively, succinctly, and precisely. Can communicate complex functionality and processes in a way that can be easily understood by the target audience.
Motivated self-starter with strong problem solving and analytical skills. Able to perform normal functions little or no supervision.
Willing to roll up sleeves and get the job done regardless.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with ability to function at both the detail and conceptual levels
Consulting skills such as interviewing stakeholders, conducting architecture reviews, and consensus building
Able to function effectively either in a stand-alone development role or as a part of a team.
Experience in facilitating group meetings/information gathering sessions with mid-level executives, excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with service oriented architectures and XML
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office components, along with SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS) and 2010 products, and Windows SharePoint Services technology platform.
Good understanding of Microsoft Information Worker infrastructure and architecture.

Professional experience in the following areas:
Expert knowledge and in-depth understanding of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and 2010; SharePoint Designer 2007 and 2010; Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 and SharePoint Foundation 2010
Expert knowledge of three or more development languages, tools, platforms, or systems from the following list: JavaScript, C#, ASP.NET, C++, Java, J2EE Application Framework, Windows Shell/PowerShell Scripting, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Microsoft Transact SQL, Siebel, Oblix, etc.
Designing and incorporating Ajax, JQuery and JSON methodologies into client code
Designing/specifying/using XML-RPC, SOAP, and REST Web services on the Back End of multi-tiered applications.
Designing, developing, and integrating applications on an RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL)
Designing, developing, and debugging complex, multi-tiered applications on one or more of the following operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux, or Mac OS)
Experience working with at least two different business applications/systems, providing development team production support.
Developing and using InfoPath forms with Exchange and SharePoint
Working understanding of XML and XSL, XSLT transformational technologies
Familiarity with BizTalk and other BackOffice platforms
Development of XML-RPC, SOAP, REST, and other Web Services
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Experience mentoring other members of technical/development staff.

Other experience:
Four years of experience in creating and using master style sheets and multiple master sheets; also experience with internal and external access security schemas
At least two years of experience with SharePoint 2010 and SharePoint Designer 2010
Education
B.S. Computer Science or Management Information Systems or equivalent experience.
Additional Skills Required:
