We have a stellar engineering team building an educational content marketplace and distribution platform serving users in 25 countries. As an early member of a tightly knit team, you can help shape the vision and growth of a groundbreaking product. Our team is distributed across the US - so telecommuting is often the norm.This is a remote position, but location in the continental US is an imperative. We’re looking for a full-stack Rails engineer with the following background:
- 4+ years building Ruby on Rails applications
- BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Proficient with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience building scalable applications/services
Bonus points for experience with:
- MongoDB, ElasticSearch
- APIs
- Authoring or participating in one or more open source projects
- Amazon EC2/S3, Heroku, or other cloud technologies
- CoffeeScript
