I am looking for an experienced and versatile Senior SW Engineer in Test to test software and hardware for major product releases for a globalised company.
The Senior Software Engineer in Test position requires excellent programming experience to work with our test automation framework, primarily in Python. It also requires a good understanding of software life-cycle, experience with a variety of testing techniques and strong written and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and extend our automated test framework
- Write automation tests to reproduce known issues and validate functionality
- Review product specifications and develop test plans for new products/features and ensure adequate test coverage
- Reproduce, isolate, and debug issues, providing detailed bug reports
- Record all test results for each test suite and provide a high level summary for areas tested
- Assist in the certification process for partner devices to ensure compatibility.
- Interface with beta users and triage bugs
Experience/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience writing and executing QA test plans for consumer electronics products (preferred) or software
- Python experience is required
- Hands-on experience with white box & automation testing is required
- Must have experience developing test plans & test cases
- Experience working on embedded Linux systems
- Knowledge of media formats/streaming preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
