Our client is currently recruiting for a Senior Functional Project Analyst for contract role based in Luxembourg.

This role requires the use of Multifonds to support the business functions for which it was designed. The functional support role can be defined as providing overall expertise in the actual and potential functionality of a software application as it applies to and supports business operations. Specialized expertise requires in-depth knowledge of an application and its usage.

The Senior Functional Project Analyst is primarily responsible for providing expert functional analysis for the Multifonds business application used by FA department, with the ability to trouble-shoot and resolve complex or transversal requests and to provide guidance and leadership for change initiatives.

During this role the Senior Functional Project Analyst will provide training, coaching, advice and assistance to more junior members of the team in order to help build their own competencies and lead application usage optimisation initiatives for the Multifonds business application used by FA and/or other Multifonds end users.

The Multifonds Functional Project Analyst participates in the account & operational management of the software vendor:
- Following up on service levels, invoices & budget
- Day-to-day follow-up of service
- Organisation & participation in monthly vendor account meetings

- may be required to fulfil the role of a QA Analyst for the application and be required to:
- Design and/or execute test cases for various test phases, such as FST (Functional System Testing) and NRT (Non Regression Testing)
- Use the guidelines and methodology as defined by QA and Testing Services globally

- may be required to fulfil the role of a Business Systems Analyst for the application in the context of the E2E Requirements process and thus be required to:
- Drive the requirements gathering process
- Document the Requirements Package
- Use the guidelines and methodology as defined by the E2E Requirements COE

- may also be required to participate in the following activities that are part of Application Management's global responsibilities:
- Providing day-to-day functional support, setup & parameterisation
- Developing and deploying business-aligned application strategies
- Expert training
- Interfacing between business operations and IT departments
- Enhancement process management
- Effective knowledge management
- Documentation

Position Competencies/Requirements/Experience:
- Good knowledge of or Fund Accounting business activities with a minimum of 4 years experience in business operations or similar role
- Good knowledge of project management activities and governance with a minimum of 2 years in a project-related or analyst role
- Sound knowledge of FA Systems & IT environments
- Sound knowledge of cross location operations environment
- Sound financial industry knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to lead changes, initiatives and projects
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, trouble-shoot, solve problems and implement appropriate solutions
- Able to work in different support time zones
- Excellent communication skills
- Good presentation
- Relevant Educational Background (Finance/IT)
- Good English Language Written/Oral (Mandatory).
- Other languages are considered as an advantage
