Description
Due to growth within the company my Global client a leader within engineering, based in Tewkesbury are looking to bring on-board a number of Engineers with the following skills.
Main Accountabilities:
*Make off Cat5/6 cables, d-types and some specialised connectors
*Competent at neatly dressing in cables in confined spaces
*Complete some minor mechanical assembly work
*Able to understand work from engineering drawings
*Proactive at solving problems
*PAT test
*Work quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision
*Be flexible including working additional hours when required - perhaps some weekends.
*SC cleared as a minimum.
Person Specification
Knowledge, Qualification and Experience:
*Must possess, or be able to obtain and retain DV clearance.
*C&G 2377 PAT Testing
*Ability to report clearly on events both verbally and in written form, including good technical specification, applicable to a broad audience, both internally and externally.
*Computer literate. A regular user of Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) or similar packages.
*Use of asset management software for the accurate logging of equipment and their associated movements
*COSHH awareness
Desirable Knowledge, Qualification and Experience:
*Be an Eng Tech or Incorporated Engineer or Member of a similar organisation, or willing to work towards such membership within one year of appointment.
*Experience of working within secure environments.
*Working knowledge mechanical equipment or outside interests that include mechanical equipment maintenance
