Marketing Officer - Edinburgh City Centre - initial 4 months

I am looking for a Marketing Officer for an initial 4 month contract based in Edinburgh City Centre. You will be joining a closely knit, supportive team focused on delivering a diverse range of objectives.
The role:
You will be responsible for developing and delivering all internal and external marketing communication efforts in line with the client's strategic direction and policy. You will be contributing strategically and practically to the delivery of marketing and promotional objectives.
About you:
You will be proactive in your approach, and confident using a mix of above- and below-the-line advertising, direct marketing, E-marketing, social media and PR. You will display exceptional interpersonal skills as you will be the liaison to external suppliers, partners as well as internal stakeholders. You must be comfortable managing budgets, contracts and the procurement of services. You must be able to display creative flare as you will be developing content, editing e-events and e-newsletters, managing production of a key publication as well as coordinating on-site promotional material.
To be considered for the role you must have:
* Experience in marketing and/or communications and PR (minimum 3 - 4 years)
* Ability to develop and produce relevant marketing communications material to a high standard
* Knowledge of the social networking and digital media landscape
* Strong organisational and project management skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to prioritise and manage a diverse programme of work against agreed deadlines
Desirable:
* Experience in PR/Media relations
* Experience of working in a high profile organisation
* Experience of an arts/culture/heritage sector
* Experience of internal communications processes and delivery
* Experience of working within a SharePoint environment
