Description

Job Summary:

The candidate is mainly responsible for supporting MS Solution development and sales support for global key MS projects, and training selected sales staff in both HQ and Regions.

  • Business development: being actively involved in C-level customer communications (eg customer visit, workshop, industry conference, etc) to generate MS leads and convert those leads to realistic opportunities by consultative selling, specially for Plan & Engineering (Understand network planning design architecture and tasks related with other departments; Collect and analyze planning & engineering requirements; Prepare generic and customized solutions to solve network planning and engineering issues etc.)
  • Sales Solution: supporting sales engagements for global key MS projects (mainly for E2E outsourcing or Plan & Engineering outsourcing) in terms of deal shaping, solution architecture (including both technical and commercial solutions), proposal development, bidding clarification, business case, and contract negotiation, etc.
  • Training: acting as mentor and coach to selected MS sales staff in both HQ and Regions to develop and improve their competencies in handling MS sales engagements.

Experiences & Qualifications:

  • University degree or above, MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years telecom operator or vendor experience with direct experience of selling complex Managed Services solutions to wireless & fixed operators. Proven track records in high value MS sales.
  • Strong knowledge of operators and their ecosystems, in-depth understanding of Managed Services marketplace.
  • Exceptional business and solution skills with the ability to shape large and complex MS deals, conduct consultative selling, develop and execute effective sales strategies and tactics, architect complex MS solutions, and influence customer executives' decision making.
  • Strong networking and relationship building towards operators' CXO customers.
  • Outstanding communication (verbal & written) and negotiation skills with the ability to lead, influence and drive complex deal shaping and negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large and complex projects from the initial period to successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and financial understanding.
  • Must be a team player and possess exemplary managerial skills.
