Mainframe-COOLGEN Developer
Our client in Dublin have a contract Mainframe-COOLGEN Developer role the ideal candidate must have
- Experience in JCL, COOLGEN tool, PL1, TSO, Changeman, BMC Remedy, IMS-DB
- Software Engineering in either/both SDLC and Agile Environment (Scrum) delivering high-quality coded solutions in required technology families, platforms, functional and industry domains using prescribed tools, frameworks and technologies
- Establish & develop strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Deliver tailored results leveraging your technical competency and industry knowledge.
- Implement all software developments/changes to the required standards and within agreed deadlines.
- Proactively identify and assist in the timely resolution of issues and defects.
- Provide post implementation support.
- Experience of working on both New-build and Maintenance programs in Banking or similar industries.
- Have extensive experience in the analysis, design, build, test, installation, and support of properly engineered information systems.
- Be a strong and committed team player with the ability to work on own initiative.
- Have strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Be proactive in developing own skills and knowledge.
- Have strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
