PHD, DSP, AUDIO, ACOUSTIC, MATLAB, SIMULINK, ALGORITHM, BELGIUM
I am recruiting for an ambition engineer to join a fantastic technology client in Belgium. The role is a R&D position within Audio & Acoustic division. The ideal candidate has a PhD in Electronics with a strong affinity for Audio/Music
Role
- You prototype and develop novel acoustical concepts and sound algorithms;
- You perform objective (acoustic measurements) and subjective (listening tests) experiments;
- You demonstrate concepts and algorithms both internally and to external customers;
- You translate your realizations into architecture requirements
- You support the integration of your deliverables
- You actively participate in the idea creation and sound strategy processes;
Expectations:
- You hold a Master's (or equivalent) or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics or Digital Signal Processing;
- You have basic experience in Digital Signal Processing (audio processing);
- You are familiar with computer-aided design (electronic modelling tools, Matlab/Simulink);
- You have a very strong affinity for audio/music;
- You are a creative person, able to bring new ideas to a prototype stage, working out efficient solutions in an independent manner;
- You are able to work together with our demanding customers, are quality minded and deliver on commitment;
- You are an excellent teamplayer;
- You are proficient in English. Dutch is recommended.
