Informatica Powercenter Technical specialist
For our prestigious client, we are currently looking for an Informatica consultant - infrastructure
Key skills:
- At least 4 years of experience with Informatica Powercenter (including version 9) in a large company setup (DEV, TST, QA, PROD Servers).
- Experience with server administration and installation (upgrades, patches,...) of informatica
- At least 2 years of experience working in a Unix/Linux environment and Scripting.
- At least 2 years of experience with Oracle databases.
- Good knowledge of SQL language: Oracle and Sqlserver.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehouse design concepts.
- Strong understanding of business continuity and recovery processes and procedures.
Tasks:
- The ETL resource will be a part of a Back Office support team which builds, develops and supports an EDW environment towards developers within our client's group.
- Main components of the EDW environment are Informatica Powercenter, Oracle and IBM Netezza.
- He/She will be responsible for day to day operational follow-up, support and assistance of Informatica including the production-, test- and acceptation environments.
- He/She will be responsible for one or more products and ensures that the products comply with given specifications and meet customer quality and security requirements.
