Description
Progressive is looking for a Sr. Spotfire BI Specialist (Developer & Analyst) responsible for designing, developing and supporting BI applications in Spot-fire. The BI Development Analyst must have excellent experience in working with Spotfire scripting, data modelling and dashboard design and development of Spotfire reports. Both on desktop and mobile devices.
The successful candidate will leverage their technical skills to play a key role in defining and delivering a successful new implementation and usage of Spotfire platform in an existing BI platform within our commercial business.
Specific Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent ? 3 yr work experience
* Excellent analytical and technical skills, be able to think through and research complex problems.
* Proactive and innovative, creative thinker.
* Results oriented and able to drive issue resolution.
* Excellent knowledge of Spotfire. Both client and web version
* Capable in defining and setting up independently a spot fire project (configuration, setup, development and deployment skills)
* Knowledge of databases and SQL
* Good Knowledge of MS Access and Oracle databases
* Expert in building dashboards
* Expert in optimizing usage of Analytic Visualization options in Spotfire.
* Expert in building complex reports (more than drag & drop)
* Works independently
* Can create reports for Spotfire App
Location: province of North Brabant
