With a major increase in their already highly profitable product my Altrincham based client are looking for an IT passionate .Net Developer to join them in the next phase of their growth!
The candidate must have a keen interest in high performance .Net Web based Systems. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic person to put their knowledge into action and really put their mark on the products and help build the team.
Development work is done following agile principles with 2-week sprints and test driven methodologies.Tenure

- Produce high quality secure code, first time on time
- Design, implement and test work against an agreed requirement specification
- Produce quality technical documentation.
- Ability to work in an agile development process
- Be a self-starter who can be relied on to get the job done.
- Liaise with our test team during the testing life cycle to ensure that the implementation is delivered on time and of expected quality.
- Adopt a professional approach and behaviour when dealing with the business and user community.
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the Development team by the sharing of technical and business knowledge.
- Carry out additional duties as directed in line with business needs.
- Keep up to date with the latest innovations in .Net development
Background/ Experience
- Good understanding of the software development life cycle
- Good technical and business analysis skills.
- Prior experience of mentoring Junior Developers or assisting in knowledge transfer of .Net Technologies would be highly beneficial
Essential Technical:
- Excellent Microsoft .Net C# (2.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5)
- Background of VB.Net or C# based Development projects
(ideally with a migration based project)
- Any use of Javascript, Jquery or AJAX based projects is helpful
- MS SQL based background
- HTML Development experience for web based products
Bonus Technical:
- Secure software development principles
- ASP.Net WebForms
- ASP.Net MVC
- jQuery, Bootstrap, responsive design, theming
