Embedded firmware/application specialist hearables (Bluetooth Low Energy BLE Smart, audio, C, ARM, Android)
Are you interested in working on cutting-edge developments in the field of hearables ? They are the next big thing in the wearables revolution, but they're in your ear rather than around your wrist And capable of audio processing, vital signs monitoring, etc. through the use of short-range communication technologies such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)/Smart or Near Field Magnetic Induction.
We are looking for specialists in this field, who can manage a project in this domain for one of our customers, or be the architect of the firmware & applications, or do the development and integration itself of that firmware and of its applications. If you have worked with BlueTooth (BLE, Smart) before, audio applications, vital signs monitoring in body area networks, and you are a typical Embedded engineer (C on ARM, Real Time, low power applications (also on Android platforms), audio streaming, wireless technologies), then we are looking forward to your application.
This is a long-term contract (12m+) for a semiconductor customer East of Brussels, starting January 4 2016. If you are not comfortable with long-term assignments, please refrain from applying.
Excellent spoken and written English is required, Dutch or French may help you blend in better...
