Full Stack Developer | IAM | Glasgow, Scotland

Full Stack Developer urgently needed for a 3 month contract based in Glasgow, Scotland.

As a Technical Specialist, you will be a key part of a dynamic team supporting the organisation's Identity & Access Management (IAM) environment. Working closely with both internal colleagues and external 3rd parties, you will be responsible for ensuring change in this area is managed and controlled effectively.

Our work is highly specialised, so while we do not expect you have all of the required skills, you will be expected to drive your own development. Your core skills will be enhanced through self-study, paired learning and practical experience, and we will support you with formal training and mentoring as required.

The role is all about

  • End-to-end development of our IAM solutions, from initial design through to implementation
  • Working with project teams to ensure our solutions meet the organisation's strategic needs
  • Increasing security by centralising our IAM activities and reducing manual effort
  • Supporting live service through the proactive identification of risk and swift resolution of live issues

We would like you to have...

  • Practical experience of any or all of our supported applications:
    • IBM Tivoli Access Manager (TAM)/IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM)
    • IBM Tivoli Identity Manager (ITIM)
    • IBM Tivoli Directory Integrator (TDI)
    • IBM Tivoli Directory Server (TDS)/Security Directory Server (SDS)
    • CA Directory Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) User Directory Server
    • IBM DataPower
  • An understanding of IAM systems and methodologies
  • Knowledge of Information Security concepts such as encryption using keys, SSL or HTTPS
  • An understanding of Internet-based Information Technology
  • Exposure to J2EE applications
  • Practical experience of UNIX and UNIX Shell Scripting
