Your tasks:
- Delivering maintenance for products with a lifetime of up to 13 years
- Helping development teams to provide the maintenance service they need
- Reviewing new products, features, and product changes
- Ongoing enhancement and adoption of needed infrastructure and processes
- Improve processes and delivery time
Your qualifications
- Profound experience as system software developer for a Unix/Linux operating system
- Deep knowledge about software packaging technologies, like RPM
- SUSE Linux Enterprise, Cloud and systems management as well as openSUSE product knowledge is a big plus
- Programming skills in common scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash, ..) and native programming languages like C and C++
- Ability to analyze code and find errors
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
