Software Development Manager Required For World Wide Company - £60,000 p.a. - Sandbach

Are you looking for a role where you will be able to build the .NET team and put your own stamp on it?

We're looking for a strong .NET professional who's currently a Software Manager or an Architect looking to step into a managerial role.

They are in-sourcing all their software development after years of outsourcing and need a .NET specialist who has experience dealing with external stakeholders to spear head it.

You will be working closer with the board to define IT strategy and what elements will be brought on internally and what will be re-developed using the latest .NET tools.

It's a fantastic role who someone who has been very close to the software development for several years, understands how to integrate large applications, has worked on Greenfield projects and has a track record of installing best practise.

If this sounds like you and you're familiar with:

- C#. Visual Basic

- ASP.Net
- SQL service
- TSQL
- Stored Procedures, Triggers
- Table and index design
- Data packages
- SSIS/SSRS
- .NET 4.5
- VB script, Java script
- Experience in Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies
- Experience in SCRUM

With a proven background in:

- Development team management including the recruitment process

- Analysis, design, release and support of Greenfield applications

- Reporting to Senior Directors within the business, contributing to the over all operational plans and forecast of the IT team

- Successful delivery of new software and

- Stake holder management

- Timescale review and release projections
