The position is dedicated to all of the operational support for Structured Transaction traded within Corporate Banking & Securities (CB&S) Businesses including Structured Finance, Equities and Emerging Market. The role is challenging and involves extensive liaison with other areas of the bank, including Traders/Sales, Finance, Docs, Settlements, Regulatory and our Technology partners.
Product range within the department includesLoans, SPV (special purpose vehicles), Inflation Swaps, Total Return Swaps, Repo's, Life Insurance Policies and Pension Fund Trades, Asset Swaps/Interest Rate Swaps, Asset Backed Securities, Credit Linked Notes, Asset Financing and Equities
Key responsibilities:
Daily liaison with Business/Finance/Technology
Dealing with Pricing Issues from Third Parties/Front Office
Dealing with Back Office Investigations
Ensure all reconciliations are completed
You will have:
Relevant experience in a Middle Office environment within Structures Transactions
Structured Products knowledge; this is essential for the role
Regulatory knowledge
Experience with SUMMIT as this would be a distinct advantage
A good working knowledge of International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA)
Knowledge of credit events/restructuring events as this would be beneficial
