Description

Beyond Indigo is looking for one or two website builders to join our team. We are a full-service digital marketing and website development agency working primarily in the veterinary space. We are a small company with staff located throughout the United States.

These are freelance positions. However, our company is growing and the right developers will find a regular source of work.

Individuals only, no teams or agencies. Portfolio examples must contain links to a working site for evaluation.

We’re looking for someone with:

Minimum two years of responsive web front-end code experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with customers and other team members.

A focus on submitting clean, error-free code

A passion for learning new skills and work outside of any framework you may currently be using

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The drive to find solutions to novel coding issues, and the resourcefulness to troubleshoot issues independently

Thorough knowledge of current trends in web design

Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, web-specific graphic preparation, mobile-first responsive page formatting

Proficiency in Sass, jQuery, JS, PHP, WordPress

Proficiency in and current licenses for Adobe CC, particularly PS and AI

Deep knowledge of cross browser support considerations with ability to test in all major browsers, including IE11+ and native browsers in Android (Jelly Bean through latest) and iOS

Ability to implement Schema.org and microdata markup

Clean, well-commented stacks

Availability to attend scheduled conference call meetings
