Real Staffing are resourcing for an NHS Acute Trust in London which requires the immediate support of a Senior Finance Manager to one of its specialist divisions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Band 8b Finance Manager who is looking to develop their skills in a demanding NHS environment.
Candidates should have a strong background within Management Accounts and recent experience of dealing with clinical budgets.
Please note that candidates will not be considered without all of the essential criteria listed above. Candidates must be a qualified accountant (QBE not considered).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparing monthly financial reporting packs
- Reporting on the trust's position at monthly performance meetings
- Meeting and advising senior clinicians and budget holders
- Leading, planning and budget setting
- Monthly reporting to the Head of Financial Management
- Cost Improvement Plan (CIP) monitoring and tracking
- Staff supervision
Essential Criteria:
- CCAB part-qualified accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA, CIPFA)
- Operate at Band 8b level
- Recent assignments within an NHS Acute or Foundation Trust
- Supervised multiple staff
- Responsible for clinical budgets
- Strong background in Management Accounts
The trust is looking to interview candidates who can commence work immediately.
It is important that candidates have recently worked within an NHS hospital and have previously dealt with clinical budgets.
Rate is negotiable and will be dependent on the successful candidate's skills and experience.
