Description
SAS BI Developer/Architect
We are now looking for a solution designer to the maintenance and development team for SAS applications. The team mainly supports the marketing analytics team where advanced analytics and data mining are performed using SAS Institute's software suite.
You will be responsible for the orientation of the solution design for the team in close collaboration with the developers and other stakeholders. You will also secure that the team works within agreed guidelines and processes.
Responsibilities
- Design high level solutions and be responsible for the orientation of the solution design.
- Take part in requirement analysis (from a technical perspective) and assure that the solution meets business requirements.
- Perform pre-studies and analyses and estimate time.
- Secure that the solution adheres to the agreed architecture and standards, is maintainable and has the right level of documentation
- Secure that the agreed release and deployment processes are followed
- Secure that the agreed development guidelines and processes are followed
- Cooperation with the integration competence centre and source systems around new/changed integrations.
- Take part in the development of architecture and standards together with system architect.
- Support the development team in implementation.
Additional tasks
Assist in solving SAS related technical matters in co-operation with BI Operations and other stake-holders
Required Skills/qualification
Several years' experience from working with all parts of SAS BI solution, from database and ETL to BI Front End, in complex environments with large data
volumes.
Deep understanding of SAS data warehouse architecture.
Experience from Datamodelling
Ability to analyse source data and drive improvement of data quality together with source systems.
Good technical knowledge of SAS platform
Experience from working with an agile framework
Fluent Swedish - advantage
Knowledge of Jira - advantage
