Three Senior Scala Developers urgently required by innovative government body in Worthing, West Sussex. We want to expand our team of outstanding developers to help a major Government driven organisation build and run digital services. MUST BE SC or BPSS Cleared.
Working on business critical projects in Scala with Java on Tomcat using MongoDB, expertise in both Java and Scala is required. Working within an Agile environment, as Senior Scala developers, you must boast be committed to delivering clean code whilst liaising with Product Mangers and BA's to generate BDD scenarios.
Essential skills include, Java and Scala, open source libraries, web services (particularly SOAP and REST - their pitfalls and best practise), GIT, JIRA, SALT Stack, RabbixMQ, Gherkin, Ruby. Familiarity with Mongo DB, PLAY, Puppet, Ruby or other NOSQL databases ideal.
Security clearance is a must for this department.
