TV Backend Solution Architect
Task Description:
We are looking for a high profile engineer, with thorough knowledge of IPTV backend and familiar with the solution for Interactive Digital TV. Cable technology experience is a strong asset given the fact that the Cable infrastructure in Belgium will be opened for other operators.
He/she will be part of the team leading the analysis and deployment of this project.
His/her main tasks will be:

study the Business requirements
*
translate business requirements into system requirements
*
write high-level concept paper(s), describing the overall system requirements
*
break down the system requirements into manageable subareas (Digital Right Management, Settop Box, Backend, OSS/BSS, ..)
*
support teams or individuals who are focusing on the analysis and deployment of these subareas
*
participate to discussions with external partners
*
lead discussions with internal partners
*
report to management about progress and problems
*
contribute to the financial aspects of the project (cost-benefit analysis)
*
act as overall technical support for the project manager

Education:
Master in Industrial or Engineering Sciences
Experience:
At least 10 year professional experience in IT environment, among which, several years working with IPTV Backend. Cable technology experience is a strong asset.
