MES BI Architect
Senovo IT is urgently looking for a MES BI Architect in Amsterdam.
The MES BI Architect will have the following skills:
Strong Exposure to define BI solution architecture frameworks.
Strong Domain knowledge in Manufacturing (Steel Industry experience is preferred)
Exposure to provide BI solution for MES application
- Strong Exposure to Data Warehouse/BI Architecture - the candidate will drive all architectural strategies for BI efforts and ensure these strategies are being applied to solutions built.
- Strong knowledge to provide BI architecture guidance and advisory services to clients for various environments and systems, including application/technology blueprints, roadmaps, estimation, optimization, and migration strategies.
- Strong exposure to Data Vault and Dimensional Data Modeling, ETL Architecture and design implementation of Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Functional knowledge of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)
- Prior experience in providing BI solution for MES application
- Knowledge on ERP to MES Integration
- Strong knowledge on Material management as it pertains to the Shop floor. Clarity on Material demand Push/Pull and replenishment strategies
- Act as visionary and strategist for Over all BI Solution
- In-depth knowledge of steel making processes.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Minimum of 8 years in a Supply Chain/MES/ERP/Manufacturing functional/technical role (either business or IT.) providing familiarity with business processes and practices
- Excellent Articulation skills

Responsibilities:
The Sr. BI Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing all Business Intelligence Development activities for MES BI project. The Sr. BI Architect may be required to act as Technical Lead on BI-centric projects. Additionally, it will be necessary for this position to participate in developing BI architecture and design. He/she is expected to have in-depth knowledge of Oracle and SAP BI stack (Oracle 11g, OWB, ODI, BO) and also possess expert level skills in working with Data Warehouse and BI architecture
Architect BI solutions using Best of Breed business practices.
Ensure that the solution fits within the enterprise context
Prioritization and rationalization of conflicting business, information, and technology requirements
Responsible for the overall design of the application and mapping the business requirements to systems/technical requirements
Create conceptual designs, process definitions/functional business blueprints based on identified requirements
Develop and implement processes to evaluate, capture, and apply best practices and lessons learned
Works with the Programme Manager, Developer and Technical Architect to deliver the complete solution for the customer
Create appropriate BI road map & technical designs based on functional specifications
Promotes the development and use of repeatable solutions with focus on reusable templates and time to value
Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to client.
Design integration between enterprise systems (SAP based ERP, MES).
