Description

A Client and Server Side Java Developer with extensive knowledge in Java technologies, NetBeans and Eclipse is required to work as part of a team of experts for a leading Air Traffic Management client in the Netherlands.

Desired Profile:

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in developing applications in the Java (NetBeans, Eclipse)

  • 3 years of practical experience in developing RMI interfaces for data visualisation applications

  • Practical experience in developing ETL data manipulation and interfaces to data sources in databases/data files (XML, cvs)

  • Practical experience in analysing and discussing operational and technical specifications

  • Further experience with technologies as JFreeCharts, J2EE, Spring, JAXB, Jasper Reports, Jini, Hibernate, JBoss, Junit, Maven, DOORS, Microsoft Office

  • Preferably background knowledge in Air Traffic Control (Flight Plan, Route Network, Controlled Sectors, CHMI tool, Air Traffic Flow Management, Demand, etc.)

  • Very good oral and written communication skills, with some experience in writing technical documentation

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Develop software modules (designing, developing, maintaining and providing support on applications in the areas of data processing, HMI applications)

  • Perform and analyse modifications to the given source code, documentation and test suite, and define test scope, to implement problem fixes and changes

  • Perform investigation of problems and sketch solutions

  • Develop the current visualisation tool further, including both client-side and Server Side developing
