An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Software Applications Engineer to join a company developing infotainment systems which will revolutionise their field.
You will work directly with customers to integrate and customise unique next generation infotainment technology. The job will also involve preparation of technology demonstrators to help sell the technology to new potential customers.
Helping customers to integrate their systems with the Feedback Controllers, adding customized features as required and producing high-quality reference code and documentation, illustrating how to integrate.
The ideal candidate will have an open-minded approach to solving design challenges and will be comfortable integrating systems using a variety of software technologies ranging from microcontrollers to Windows applications.
Skills:
*Product development and integration experience, ideally across a range of platforms including ARM-based microcontrollers, embedded Linux and PC-based environments
*GUI design and implementation (using C++, .NET or Java)
*Experience of serial communication architectures (e.g. RS232, I2C, SPI, I2S). Experience of USB HID would be an advantage
*Experience of device driver development (Linux or Windows) would be a significant advantage
