Industrial Engineer - CONTRACT
Key: Project Co-ordination, Organisation, Managing Suppliers, Equipment Specification, Lean Manufacturing
Duration: Initially 18 Months
Location: Yorkshire
Rates per hour: Negotiable
My global Engineering client urgently requires the services of an experienced Industrial Engineer to help support the line Process Manager on a day to day basis and lead the implementation of improvement projects to ensure the company's products are produced at the required quality levels and as efficiently as possible.
Task:
* Take ownership and lead a crucial project to replace an existing product line. You will be working with the Customers and co-ordinating with the team on site in the UK and teams across Europe and Asia - your role be 100% based in the UK.
The ideal candidate will have;
* A Degree in Engineering or the equivalent
* Extensive understanding of general mechanical/production engineering principals, systems and machine operation.
* Strong Project Co-ordination & Organisation skills
* Good experience of Managing Suppliers
* Good Equipment Specification experience
* A Strong background in Lean Manufacturing will be beneficial
