Solution Architect:
We are currently looking for a Solution Architect for a global company based in Barcelona (Spain).
Architecture team requires additional support to cover major carve-out program and new projects architecture needs.
The Solution Architect is required to:
- Document mainly application architecture domain but supporting also the documentation for business, data and technology domains (both as-is and to-be)
- Create Solution Architecture documents for a specific project where the proposed solution is described including alternatives, evaluation, impact analysis, as-is and to-be architecture and non-functional requirements
- Create Assessment documents for a specific initiative to evaluate the alternatives, raise concerns and provide recommendations
- Present the solutions created to the Architecture Review Board for their approval
- Provide recommendations and industry best-practices to EA team (continuous improvement)
Skills:
- It is expected senior roles with experience in Solution Architecture and knowledge of Enterprise Architecture (eg TOGAF) and expertise in modelling tools (eg Visio 2013)
- Experience with application integration
- Consulting background required & best practices
- Multinational background required & large global project experience
- Pharmaceutical experience appreciated
- Fluent in English
- Proactive attitude is required. We need someone to raise the hand in case needed and to come up with results within the 1st month.
- No micro management
- Remote work is possible but we expect weekly meetings in Barcelona and some travel might be required to other sites such as in Switzerland
