Our client is currently looking for a Fluent French IT Developer Cross-Products for a 3 month+ contract based in Luxembourg.Team description:
The IT Cross-Products team is in charge of the transversal applications (ex. SWIFT, local EAI, reconciliation, etc.) of IT Platform. Its primary mission is to deliver the changes requested by the business as well as to ensure a Level 3 support (ITIL).
Job description:
In accordance with the quality and security procedures currently in place within the IT department,
the ideal candidate is able to provide:
..Developments, design, code and test technical solutions that meet the business requirements.
In this context, the developer will carry out the following duties:
..Collect and understand the business issues and needs
..Translate the business requirements into functional specifications, including system design
elements and detailed test plans for the proposed solution
..Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts
..Manage change requests and ensure agreed deadlines are maintained.
..On a weekly basis, provide effective and informative progress evaluations in terms of outstanding milestones, current status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
..Communicate effectively and facilitate team interaction
..Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
..Ensure that the appropriate documentation is made available for the end user and IT Support.
Experience and skills required:
The candidate must have:
..Proven records of analyzing, developing and documenting medium to large projects, with a
minimum of two years related experience.
..Proven experience:
..On an EAI
..In Java programming
..Good knowledge:
..Of reconciliation tool.
..In SQL/PL-SQL programming
..Swift FIN Messages - MX Messages is a plus
