Description
Duties will include:
Project Director Role for implementation of ERP System
- Ensure that the project has robust plans and resources in place to implement ERP system on the agreed date. To include system build, user acceptance testing, communications and stakeholder engagement.
- To ensure that regular updates and communication are provided to appropriate committees
- To ensure that stakeholders from across the organisation are engaged throughout the duration of the project and immediately post go live.
- To ensure an excellent relationship continues with system provider and any other appropriate third party suppliers, including senior management engagement.
Review of Information Technology Service Contracts
- To support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and the Chief Procurement Officer in reviewing all material contractual arrangements, recommending efficiencies and rationalisation where possible.
- To support the CTO to ensure that the expenditure on business as usual activities and projects/programmes is reported transparently following changes to the funding arrangements.
Desirable/Essential skills and experience:
Profile and Experience
- Qualified Accountant with relevant experience and proven track record of managing a significant budget within a large complex organisation, preferably public sector.
- Ability to translate and communicate complex financial data to a wide range of stakeholders.
- Proven track record of negotiating with large suppliers
- Significant experience of technical aspects of an ERP system ideally Oracle financial system
