SharePoint Administrator - SharePoint 2013
My client are a large organisation who are looking for a SharePoint Administrator - SharePoint 2013 to join on an initial 3 month contract.
Using SharePoint 2013, the successful SharePoint Administrator - SharePoint 2013 will focus on the delivery of key transformation projects to patch and/or upgrade Legacy applications in line with project timescales and make recommendations to ensure the future health of these systems is maintained.
The key areas the SharePoint Administrator - SharePoint 2013 will focus on are as follows:
Upgrade SharePoint 2013 production and development environments to latest service pack and hotfixes.
Liaise with capacity management and infrastructure team to proactively monitor SharePoint for availability and capacity, errors/abnormalities, failures, backups, maintenance and housekeeping jobs.
Review SharePoint farm and make recommendations for on-going maintenance and management
Work with development team to implement SharePoint features and changes to support custom applications
The SharePoint Administrator - SharePoint 2013 will have the following skills and experience:
Microsoft SharePoint 2013
o Experience of large Site Collection topology
o Diagnosing issues with features and add-ins
o SharePoint PowerShell
o Security
Windows Server
The SharePoint Administrator - SharePoint 2013 will have the following highly desirable skills:
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Office 365 - SharePoint online
Exposure to Agile Performance Competencies
The SharePoint Administrator - SharePoint 2013 will be a team player and will have worked in an agile environment.
