Are you looking for a new contract? The chance to work with the latest technology within the Video Service market has arrived! You will be working to support the architecture and design of the new TV Set-top-box programme with one of the largest cable operators worldwide.
As Video Services Engineer you will be managing the architecture and design deliverables in JIRA as well as providing design documentation for new services and systems.
Main responsibilities:
*Define the architecture for new services.
*Review the product/marketing requirements to ensure that they are detailed and unambiguous to move from architectural to design phase.
*Participate during design, development and integration phases to ensure that delivered system adheres to the architecture and design.
*Validate that there is proper alignment between the product requirements and the developed solutions.
Essential skills/experience
*Graduate degree in IT or Telecommunications (Relevant equivalent experience also considered).
* More than 5 years of experience in a systems engineering role (design or development) in IT or DTV/IPTV environment.
*Theoretical and working knowledge of: Service Oriented Architecture and ESB; XML, Web 2.0 and Web Services Technologies; IP Networking; Unix/Linux
* Proven track record of active technical participation in engineering projects.
*Must have excellent interpersonal skills, to maintain and develop effective working relationships with other peers
*Must have excellent problem solving skills and attention for detail.
