Description

We are looking for a passionate person to work in a world class Engineering Lab environment. The candidate will be self-motivated, providing support in a cross group environment, helping shape the best services for mission critical test automation and the supporting infrastructure. We seek a driven individual with strong technical, organisational, and communication skills in customer service and issue resolution. The successful person will gain hands on experience with the latest and greatest Microsoft technologies.

Requirements:

Technical skills (in order of priority):

  • Strong Windows and 2012 Server Administration knowledge & Networking, (TCP/IP in both a Local network and Internet context).
  • SQL Server Administration.
  • Understanding of Virtualization Technologies (eg Hyper-V).
  • SAN Technologies/LUNs.
  • Command-line-Scripting (eg VBScript or Perl).
  • SharePoint (MOSS, WSS).
  • Exposure to SCOM
  • Good knowledge of C#
  • Good Troubleshooting skills - troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure and database administration and maintenance
  • A proven ability to multi-task a large number of systems engineering type tasks. We have a number of systems running 24/7. They range from simple tests on new builds to large volumes of complex test automation across multiple languages running in both physical and virtual environments. Some or all of the listed technical challenges above will need to be called into play simultaneously, on a regular basis.
