Experience & Skills Required
At least 2 years in-depth experience as an Oracle Developer using the following:
Essential Technical Skills
- Oracle 9i, 10/11 and above
- Oracle APEX
- Data Warehousing
- PLSQL scripting (e.g. advanced stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, error handling, optimisation, hints, application and maintenance of indices).
- SQL and SQL*Plus
- SQL Developer / TOAD
- ER Diagramming
- Numeric problem solving
- A thorough understanding of logical and physical database design processes
- Tangible experience of working with large data sets.
Beneficial Technical Skills
- Unix shell scripting
- SQLServer 2012
- Query Performance Optimisation
- Microsoft Reporting Services
- Java J2EE,
- ASP, JSP, Javascript
- HTML, CSS
- Scribe
- Use of Tableau as a reporting tool (beneficial but not essential)
- Change Management Procedures
