Infrastructure Solution Architect- Television and Broadcast
I have an opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to work for a Broadcast company in London on a contract basis. Due to the nature of the role we are only looking for candidates who have recent and extensive experience in the TV and Broadcast industry.
As the Infrastructure Solution Architect you will be reporting in to the Infrastructure and Design integration manager within the media management and playout service area.
Responsibilities will include;
- Ensuring end to end completeness of Infrastructure Technical design, including NFRs validated and realized.
- Ensure adherence to standards and influence solutions towards the infrastructure suture state model.
- Keeping up to date with business road maps, technology road maps and feeding wider business requirements into central infrastructure and engineering teams.
- Analysis of service related trends and recommendation of technology change or improvements that better fit business needs.
Experience we are looking for;
- A strong background in Infrastructure Architecture across a broad range of technologies including but not limited to the following; Data center, server and network infrastructure, Virtualisation technologies, Enterprise storage solutions, knowledge of enterprise security infrastructure, experience of data center migrations, technology re-platforming, technology upgrade projects.
- Experience in security, performance tuning, capacity planning, resilience and availability across heterogeneous architectures.
- Experience of working as a part of a Matrix delivery team, ideally as a project/product technical lead, solution manager or equivalent.
- Excellent visual and verbal communication skills.
- Good commercial insight
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in TOGAF, Agile and waterfall are all advantages with experience in relevant architecture roles.
