Senior Digital Web OperationYorkshire & Humberside
Circa £450 per day
6 month contract
IntaPeople have an immediate contract available for a Senior Digital Web Operation Engineer to join an established company working on high profile projects.
As the successful Senior Digital Web Operation Engineer, on a day to day basis you will be involved within the following:
Web Operator is required to support the development team in the provision and running of the development environments, and to support the design and delivery of the production environments
Managing the team of Dev Ops.
Share advanced knowledge of programming skills with the wider team, providing support where necessary.
Operational management of Linux Servers, delivering a complex web application stack.
Building and configuring new server platforms and the automated tooling to do so.
Testing, debugging and troubleshooting of platform level problems.
Supporting development teams with configuring applications for deployment.
Anticipate technological developments to keep activity relevant and targeted.
Sharing on-call duties as required.
To apply for this role, you will be required to have the following experience:
Two years' experience of provisioning development and production environments
Help development teams to build secure applications that are easy to operate and scale.
Experience across Java, CentOS, PostGress/MongoDB, Maven, NginX, Tomcat, Artifactory,l Jenkins, Nagios OpsView, GiTLab.
Ability to work as part of an Agile team.
As the successful Senior Digital Web Operation you will be working within a government project. Please note, candidates will need to be BPSS clearable.
