Position Description
Support risk management efforts for Shared Services & Banking Operations (SSBO) and EMEA Branch Operations in Glasgow. The candidate will have ownership and responsibility for reporting and monitoring risks and risk metrics for the various functional Silos.
You will be a member of the Shared Services Risk Team and reporting to the regional head of Shared Services Risk in Glasgow. Responsibilities will include a variety of reporting and monitoring including Risk Incident analysis (Recap), Action Plans, Segregation of Duties and Entitlements reviews, End-User Computing, BCP, Depth Charts, amongst others. Additional functions include the management and reporting of daily, weekly and monthly risk metrics in preparing of monthly functional, regional and global risk reports.
You will interface with management from various functional areas and levels within SSBO, cross-divisional teams, ORC, RAM, Information Technology, Legal and Compliance, EMEA Branch Ops and others. The role will involve building relationships and close coordination risk experts locally and in all regions globally, in addition line managers as required.
Skills Required
- Preferred Operations experience in a Line or Risk function.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in preparing metrics and reporting with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience in using Microsoft Office application suite, especially Excel for handling of large metrics data and PowerPoint for the production of risk reports
- Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to meet tight deadlines and has a deliver-focused approach, prioritizes effectively,
- Highly motivated self-starter with multi-tasking abilities.
- Strong sense of ownership for control and quality of output.
