System Engineer for Brake Systems in Railmotive (m/f)

Your tasks:
- System engineering related to the integration of wheel slide protection and brake of a rolling stock (locomotive, cab car and coach)
- Review of the integration of the brake system into the vehicle (electrical and pneumatic schemes)
- Review of all brake related functionalities (pneumatic, magnetic and electric brake, blending, alarm)
- Review of interface between brake and rolling stock (HW and SW interfaces)
- Analysis of norms, standards, safety regulations in Sweden/Norway/Denmark
- Support for homologation activities in Sweden/Norway/Denmark
- Support verification and validation activities (calculations, lab or vehicle tests)
- Interprets customer specifications and standards requirements to ensure that the design is compliant
- Field support (problem solving), solve technical issues coming from testing of the vehicles
- Performs technical meetings, reviews (with supplier, validator and customer)
- Interfaces with supplier, engineering, testing and manufacturing
Your qualifications
- Graduate in Engineering, ideally in Mechatronics
- Master’s Degree is desirable
- Knowledge in system design and integration (especially electrical systems)
- Multidisciplinary know-how in Mechanics, Electronics, Software
- Working experience in brake system design and system integration is highly reliable
- Basic Knowledge in design and integration of safety systems
- Railway business knowledge
- Proficiency in English
