SQL Developer Required - 6 month contract - softwarehouse

A rapidly growing software company in North Dublin requires an excellent SQL Developer to join a well-established IT team and work on a number of projects.

The Contract: 6 months

The Role: SQL Developer

Location: North Dublin

What the job involves:

Develop, build and maintain existing SSRS reports and documents. Write SQL queries and stored procedure, performance enhancements, participate in all phases of the application development lifecycle process, design, develop, modify and implement reports using SSRS. Perform data integrity and audit checks, deliver ad-hoc extracts, which support business requirements. Interact with clients to develop reporting solutions, which meet business requirements.

What is required?

5 years+ experience with SQL Server 2008R2/2014 and the following:

SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, T-SQL, cursors, triggers, stored procedures, views, etc.

Expertise in SQL programming

Strong logical and creative problem-solving skills, good oral and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills

Ability to use a source control software like GitHub, TFS or SVN

Third level degree

Desired

Experience of agile software methodologies

Experience of test driven development

BI and Datawarehouse development experience
