Role: Software Developer Engineer in TestLocation: Dublin South
I am looking for an experienced Software Developer Engineer in Test to join a new start company in Dublin. This is an opportunity to work with an organically grown Irish company who have grown from less than 20 people in 2012 to over 90 employees today.
You will get to work with some of the most technical people in Ireland as this company only hires the best talent on the market.
As SDET you will be driving the Test Automation efforts. This is an excellent learning environment for an experience SDET to come in and teach people about test automation and to also learn about new technologies.
Using technologies such as Python, Twisted and Linux you will get to use additional tools such as Jenkins and Docker.
The company are currently operating with Python and Twisted on the Server side and PHP, JavaScript, BackBoneJS and other technologies for the front end.
The SDET will get great experience of the company's product as they will be working across the number of different applications from the UI, SQL right through to the OS, there is no restriction on this opportunity
What makes them different to every other company is that they have a big focus on improving their customer experience. The system you will be working in is a completely in-house developed system which is like no other on the market as the main competitors operate on Plugins.
Skills/ Experience:
- Programming experience with Python is essential
- Linux Scripting skills
- Industry experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Sahi or other
- Solid experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins or Team City
Nice to have but not essential:
- Experience with Performance testing tools such as Jmeter or LoadRunner
- Working PHP and JavaScript knowledge
Basic Salary: €50,000 - €65,000
