External Audit Assistant Manager - GAAP - IFRS - ICAW
Our client, one of the big 4, are currently looking for External Audit Assistant Managers to join them on a contract basis in London and across a number of their regional offices.
They are looking to expand their team and bring in individuals to support the current audit team during a busy period. The successful candidates will be carrying out external audits for existing clients across various areas.
Responsibilities:
Managing client relationships, planning and delivering a range of Internal Audit services
Construct and supervise audit teams
Drive continuous improvement in Audit methodology
Participate in development of the organisation's Audit thought leadership
Participate in marketing and sales campaigns
To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm's commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
Candidate Requirements:
Experience of managing small to medium sized Audit engagements, leading Audit teams and reporting to business management
Candidates will ideally be Auditors or Accountants
Knowledge of Auditing techniques including Risk assessment, Audit scoping, devising Audit approach, controls testing, substantive Audit testing including sampling techniques
Report writing, presentation and interpersonal skills including good written and verbal communications
Team leadership skills
Management and organisational skills
Proven ability to use initiative, adapt and independently solve problems
Flexibility to travel
Qualifications
UK GAAP or IFRS
Member of ICAW
