Salesforce Developer:
Key responsibilities
Development and configuration work using Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Communities:
Delivering code and test specifications
Experience of leading a team of developers)not essential) providing coaching and undertaking code reviews
Managing customer requirements gathering meetings
Working on own initiative or as part of a team
Must have excellent analysis and communication skills; with a proven track record of delivery in an IT Professional Services organisation.
Skills, experience and qualifications required:
Essential
At least 2-4 years Salesforce CRM development experience with Developer certifications (At least Dev 501, possibly Dev 502)
Knowledge of Salesforce Sales, Service and Communities functionality
Knowledge and experience of developing custom business logic and interfaces to extend Salesforce using Apex and Visualforce, particularly using Sales Cloud and Service Cloud
Experience of developing applications using Heroku
Good understanding of object-oriented programming best practices
Good understanding of good coding practices and of unit testing own code and work
Understanding of development life cycle (Waterfall and/or Agile) management methodologies
Experience developing and deploying web service based solutions
Good client facing communication skills

Ensure high quality and consistency of development from offshore development partners and onshore temporary development staff.
Define and monitor a set of development best practices for use across the organisation, including unit testing, source code management, environment and release management.
Troubleshoot, support and lead technically complex solution designs for development and integration on the Salesforce platform.
Ensure appropriate skills coverage of the Centre of Excellences such as mobile, heroku and integration within the development team.
Deliver on own client and internal development assignments as assigned, expected ~60% individual utilisation.
Manage and implement where appropriate the tools required for developers to be successful, such as JIRA.
Responsible for building and delivering world-class platforms for our customers on Salesforce/Force.com.
Bring certification and deep expertise using Force.com maximising the use of OOB functionality to deliver solutions that have minimal coding.
Suitable candidates will be knowledgeable in Force.com and web application development.
Will be able to fully utilise OOB features of Force.com, designing solutions that make use of the Force.com API, APEX, Visualforce and other tools to extend the product to meet clients' needs.
Deep experience in integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems is essential.
Will understand both Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall delivery models and understand the importance of SDLC (Software - Development Life Cycle) and SFDC development best practices.
Will be able to communicate clearly and confidently, and to work effectively both as a member of our flexible and dynamic delivery teams.
Configuration of OOB Salesforce to the maximum achievable without coding
Coding in APEX, Visualforce, formulae and complimentary Scripting tools such as ANT
Working as part of both Waterfall and Agile delivery teams
SDLC deployment management
Key Experience:
- DEV401 (Developer) certification
- ADM201 (Admin) certification
- Several real-world client Force.com deliveries
- Code version control experience (GIT, SVN, other)
- Proven solution engineering and real-world delivery experience
- Clear & confident technical communication skills
- Javascript/Jquey
Requirements
Salesforce Developer and ideally Advanced Developer certifications.
5+ years' experience in Java or .NET based web development.
Good with HTML, CSS and JavaScript and with frequent exposure to JS and CSS libraries
2-3+ years' experience in Salesforce.com development.
Experience with integration techniques and technologies with advanced knowledge of relational databases, Datamodelling and Object Oriented methodologies.
Experience of full systems development life cycle experience and development governance.
Language; English or Swedish preferred
