SAS Programmer Role and Responsibilities:Our consultancy client is looking for experienced SAS Developers to work with a Financial Services client in Dublin.
What' involved:
- Build, develop and test a Decision Support Tool for customers in financial difficulty according to set business requirement documentation
- Design and write macros that are maintainable, accessible and user friendly
- Produce technical documentation for the solution including all SAS code
- Liaise with the business on business requirements documentation
- Develops, maintains and validates data structure and software
What you need:
- Minimum of 4 years SAS programming experience
- BA or BSC in a scientific or quantitative field
- Strong understanding of database concepts and linking database tables using primary and secondary indices
- Advanced SAS Programming Skills and experience incorporating Macros, Embedded Loops, Optimisation
- Experience working with the business to understand business requirements and to deliver a solution which can be easily updated and maintained by the Business/Risk Analytics
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Understanding of the software development life cycle
Desirable:
- Advanced SAS Certification an advantage.
Salary:
- €600/day
