Security Solutions Architects - Up to £600 per day
A large financial services company are looking for a Security Solutions Architects to help define and deliver the security architecture to help a large scale digital transformation programmes. Modern and robust security architecture is a critical part of this strategy and the company are investing heavily across all areas of our security.
You will work on strategies, provide architectural support to projects and programmes and create operational responses companies roadmap for the core security portfolio of technology including Firewalls, IPS, IDS, forensics, threat monitoring, vulnerability scanning, DLP and IAM.
The role:
*To drive the roadmap for the core IT security portfolio of technology
*Respond to the overall security strategy, providing an IT response to the understood threat landscape
*Work within a larger engineering and architectural function and act as a security SME for other projects and programmes of work as required
*Act as a SME who can provide both on-site and virtual team leadership across the function
*Develop and continuously refine Enterprise Architecture principles, policies, standards, patterns and governance frameworks that guide strategic decisions for Nationwide
*Closely work with Strategy and Planning to ensure the Corporate Plan and planning scenarios are understood and the impact clearly defined
*Strong knowledge in Windows and Active Directory security, Firewalls, application security, VPN's & secure design principles
*A good understanding of networking is essential
*Risk assessment and vulnerability management
