Front End Developer
Cheshire
3 Months initial, likely 6 months and over.
A leading e-commerce client based in Cheshire are urgently seeking a Front End Developer with strong JavaScript and Angular JS skills, for an initial 3 month contract that is extremely likely to extend.
As the Front End Developer you will be taking a lead role in building up a new and exciting Hybrid Mobile Apps Development Team, and will be involved in a completely greenfield project building mobile applications using we technologies in order to make them compatible with both iOS and Android.
In order to be considered for the role of Front End Developer you must have exceptional experience in JavaScript and the AngularJS library. It is essential that you have a deep understanding in either AngularJS or BackboneJS (ideally both). You will be working in a fast paced environment, and technically will need to be at a subject matter expert level with JavaScript.
My client have stressed that this role requires more than just skills in developing web pages in JavaScript. You need to have experience in complex JavaScript projects, and ideally you will have worked in an environment with Angular, an IONIC middleware and also a Cordova backend (although the JavaScript and Angular skills are the most essential).
You will need full lifecycle experience as you will be building these apps and the team from the ground up. Therefore you must be prepared to work with no existing stack, and ideally will have some design and maybe architecture skills.
The Front End Developer key skills required are:
- Javascript Framework
- Working on complex JS applications
- AngularJS
- BackboneJS (Desirable)
- HTML, CSS, JQuery and other 'front-end' technologies
- Mobile Application Development Experience (Desirable)
- Full project lifecycle experience
This is an urgent role for a Front End Developer, and will have a 1 stage face to face process. There is a rate of £pd available for the right candidate.
