For our customer we are looking for a Front End developer.
Job description:
The customer is strengthening its capabilities to drive UX excellence in its leading and future Business Support Systems. They are looking for you who are motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.
Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Key responsibilities
Develop primarily user-facing features and interfaces through the whole product life cycle, from early definition and analysis to test and customer installation.
Transform internal data models into human friendly information handling
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
Assure that all user input is properly validated before submitting to Back End
Collaborate with other team members, typically interactions designers and Back End developers, as well as stakeholders
Stay informed of advances in interactive techniques, technologies and methods, and adapting to rapidly evolving industry space
Required skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Interaction/Graphic Design, MA/MS in computer science, human computer interaction, industrial engineering, cognitive science, or related field,
3+ years of industry work experience in UX driven development experience including proven experience with different graphical and user interaction deliverables
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
Basic understanding of Server Side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
Proficient understanding of client-side Scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
Good understanding and knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, DurandalJS.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Gerrit as well as ARM solutions.
Prototyping tools (Balsamiq, Axure, JustInMind, ),
Experience of working in Agile environments,
Creativity and great attention to details & design,
HTML/CSS knowledge and found understanding of web development,
Strong and clear communicator both internally and externally,
Demonstrated and quantified successes applying principles of user centric design methodologies
