Contract Web Developers - C# / VB.Net - York - 6 month contractA major ecommerce organisation based in York are looking to grow their team over the next few weeks/month quite considerably, to manage a number of major projects they currently have on and coming up. They will be looking for numerous Contract web developers, with key skills in .Net technologies (mainly C# / VB.Net / MVC / CMS), to work as part of a team.
The project is taking an existing C# MVC project and tying that in with a bespoke custom built Content Management System, with a lot of this written in VB.Net.
The key technologies needed from the right software developer are:
- VB.Net
- C#
- MVC
- XML/XPath
- HTML / CSS
- JavaScript (Jquery and ideally some Angular.JS)
- SQL Server and potentially some exposure to Oracle
This is just the initial stage, and there are plans for a brand new Greenfield site in 6-9 months time. The right software developer would move on to this project at the completion of the above.
They are looking to pay market rates (£300 to £350/day most likely), and are happy to look at people starting soon or up to Mid January.
