Description

Role: Senior Digital Front End Developer
Location: Plymouth
Rate: £370 - £410 per day.
Contract: 4 months - Starting
Intapeople are looking for a Senior Digital Front End Developer join an established company working on high profile projects starting in the New Year.
The successful Senior Developer will;
• Guide other team members where necessary as you design, create and improve new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the organisation.
• You will lead the development of new IT solutions and initiatives. Implement APIs for internal and external use.
• Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a continuous deployment environment.
• Have knowledge of tools and techniques used within the wider team, both Developers and Non-Developers.
• Take part in 2nd-line support of applications and platforms. Have experience building server-side web applications and have detailed knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
Key Tasks and Deliverables;
- Day-to-day you will be responsible for working with that team to create and improve new and existing products. Building services to serve a variety of citizens' needs.
• Assist and guide other team members where necessary as you design, create and improve new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the organisation.
• To lead the development of new IT solutions and initiatives. Implement APIs for internal and external use.
• Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a continuous deployment environment.
• Have knowledge of tools and techniques used within the wider team,
• both Developers and Non-Developers.
• Take part in 2nd-line support of applications and platforms.
Experience Required;
• Experience building server-side web applications and detailed understanding and experience front-end web development (HTML/CSS/JS)
• An ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience Being involved in the wider web development community, identifying good practices we can adopt and sharing our experiences.
• Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team, both developers and non-developer Experience working on technical projects within a team Knowledge of the use of version control systems such as subversion or git Ability to quickly research and learn new programming tools and techniques
