As a Risk Operations Controller your responsibilities will be focused on the assessment and mitigation of the operational risks in operations processes. Activities will include control awareness, monitoring and escalation, risk reviews and remediation oversight.
The role will require that you liaise closely with the cross-product Control teams and to be involved in the oversight of Risk and Control functions, as well as the development of close functional working relationships with colleagues. In addition you will be assisting with the validation of Deutsche Bank control policy implementation and oversight of risk and control processes.
Key Responsibilities

Designing and implementing control risk assessments as part of the Three Lines of Defence (3LoD) framework

Facilitating an independent risk and control framework, challenging Control weakness and delivering transparent risk based oversight

Advising and assisting with the mitigation of risks that arise from weakness, errors and external event demands

Instilling a control mindset across the organisation, ensuring that control focus is prominent

Following a disciplined approach to ensure that the new Control remit is followed and implemented

Educating and providing relevant training to promote awareness and accountability
-
Creating, assessing and challenging relevant control indicators, undertaking intrusive analysis and where required, drive through solutions

Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with operations teams and its management to reduce operational risks across the organization

Being actively involved in control calls to ensure risks are identified across Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), are being appropriately escalated and investigated
You will have:

Strong control and operational risk management experience with an exposure to control practices

Operations and/or Audit experience
-
Experience in handling projects independently (Project Management skills and experience)

Experience of managing a team, providing direction to members of a team and developing top talent
-
Excellent presentation skills

Good organisational and interpersonal skills
