IBM Mainframe Developer | COOLGEN | SDLC | Agile | Dublin

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Engineering in either/both SDLC and Agile Environment (Scrum) delivering high-quality coded solutions in required technology families, platforms, functional and industry domains using prescribed tools, frameworks and technologies

  • Establish & develop strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Deliver tailored results leveraging your technical competency and industry knowledge.

  • Implement all software developments/changes to the required standards and within agreed deadlines.

  • Proactively identify and assist in the timely resolution of issues and defects.

  • Provide post implementation support.

Qualifications:

  • Degree educated or higher in a relevant academic subject

  • Any industry recognised certifications and/or memberships are also desirable.

Key Competencies and Experience

  • Experience of working on both New-build and Maintenance programs in Banking or similar industries.

  • Have extensive experience in the analysis, design, build, test, installation, and support of properly engineered information systems.

  • Be a strong and committed team player with the ability to work on own initiative.

  • Have strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Be proactive in developing own skills and knowledge.

  • Have strong communication skills, both written and oral.

  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.

  • Have the ability to work in an Agile team environment - actively participating in story planning and detailed daily stand-ups.

  • Have an excellent customer service attitude and the ability to interact with people in a professional manner.
