Proteus Europe are currently looking for a Planning Assistant for one of our clients based in West London.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The primary role is to provide secretarial services to the President of SDSE, ensuring the smooth running of the President's office and provide effective and efficient support to SDSE Expats following arrival in UK.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To draft any correspondence required by the President when required.
- To coordinate and manage the President's diary and travel arrangements so as to ensure that he is able to maximize his time and fulfill his commitments in accordance with agreed priorities.
- To organize meetings, lunches, dinners etc in accordance with the business schedule.
- To receive VIP visitors to the office and to ensure they are appropriately entertained.
- Support scheduling of VIP visits
- To co-ordinate all VIP visitor travel arrangements including: Flight Reservations, Hotel bookings, UK transportation, VIP Greetings
- Provides internal and external strategic planning and market research databases to perform analysis
- To co-ordinates the organization's services and resources, liaising with other senior staff
- To draft any correspondence required by the President when required.
EDUCATION:
Preferably educated to a minimum of university level education.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Good administrative and PC skills (MS Office)
- Ability to priorities and juggle tasks is essential.
- Excellent organization skills
- Practically minded, assessment of needs, planning office space, arranging for things to be repaired etc.
- Pro-active in approach, able to think and plan ahead.
- Excellent verbal and written communications are required.
- Patient and calm under pressure
- Adaptable/flexible personality.
- Well presented.

EXPERIENCE:
Preferably have 1-3 years' experience of administration / analytical work, preferably gained within a blue-chip company environment.

HOURS OF WORK:
37.5 hour week. Some weekend and evening work may be required for emergencies and projects.
